Gunther Kotz has more than 15 years of industry experience in real estate finance and workout of CMBS loans. Before joining CERATO, he headed the Special Servicing Department of Hatfield Philips / Situsoverseeing the workout and liquidation of real estate loans with a face value of more than EUR 30bn in all major European jurisdictions. Before joining Hatfield Philips, Gunther Kotz worked in a law form focusing on real estate finance and restructuring, predominantly advising banks. Gunther Kotz started his career in an investment bank in London. Gunther Kotz is a qualified German lawyer and is a CFA charterholder.
